Edradour – The Myth, The Mafia and The Magic – Book Review.

I was lucky enough to recently receive a copy of Andrew Cameron’s book “The Myth, The Mafia and The Magic – The History of the Edradour Whisky Distillery”.

I have a few books in my reading pile but this made it straight on to the top.  Edradour is one of the closest distilleries to me but shamefully I have not visited it yet (I think I may have been when I was 8 or 9 but that doesn’t really count)

From the granting of a distillers license in 1825 to the takeover by the current owner and right up to the release of its latest expressions and plans for expansion, the book covers it all.  I read it whilst away for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it.  Its packed with information, dates and facts without becoming a dry read.

If you have ever visited, are planning to visit the distillery or even if you just have an interest in whisky history I would definitely recommend that you treat yourself to a copy.

You can order the book for Kindle or E-readers at all the usual outlets or you can visit the authors website and order it directly by following this link.
